“Γενναιότητα ν' αμφισβητείται ο κανόνας ...”

 Ποια είναι τα κύρια ζητήματα του HR σήμερα ;

Η ταχύτητα των αλλαγών στο HR αποτελεί σημαντικό ζήτημα. Πρέπει όλοι να μπορέσουμε να τις παρακολουθήσουμε. Η ανάλυση δεδομένων, για παράδειγμα, αποκτά όλο και μεγαλύτερη σημασία. Όμως αντιλαμβάνονται πλήρως οι άνθρωποι τη χρησιμότητά της; Έχουμε συνειδητοποιήσει πως και για ποιο σκοπό τη χρησιμοποιούμε;

Πολλοί επαναλαμβάνουν με κάθε ευκαιρία ότι οι άνθρωποι είναι το πιο σημαντικό κομμάτι της επιχείρησης, όμως πρέπει να δούμε πως τα λόγια γίνονται πράξεις. Να δούμε πως το HR επιδρά στην αύξηση της κερδοφορίας.

 

Τι θα αποκτήσει μεγαλύτερη σημασία για το HR τα επόμενα πέντε χρόνια;  

Πολλοί βλέπουν συνήθως το HR ως ένα τμήμα στο κέντρο της επιχείρησης. Όμως θα έπρεπε να αποκεντρωθεί μέρος αυτών των αρμοδιοτήτων στους managers πρώτης γραμμής (floor managers).

Η παραδοσιακή, κάθετη ιεραρχική οργάνωση υποχωρεί έναντι της οργάνωσης με τη μορφή δικτύου. Σ’ αυτή τη μορφή οργάνωσης θα πρέπει να μεταβιβασθούν στους ηγέτες ομάδων (team leaders)  περισσότερες εξουσίες από το κέντρο.

Το HR ίσως μικρύνει καθώς πολλές επιχειρησιακές δραστηριότητές του μεταφέρονται εκτός επιχείρησης. Το HR θα επιβιώσει και ίσως να απασχολήσουμε περισσότερο προσωπικό με ικανότητα στην ανάλυση δεδομένων και στην πρόβλεψη θετικών μεταβολών που θα υποστηρίζονται από την ανάλυση. Δεν θα αφιερώνουμε ίσως τόσο χρόνο σε διοικητικά καθήκοντα αλλά θα γίνουμε πιο εξειδικευμένοι και πιο στρατηγικοί.

 

Τι θέματα θα εξακολουθεί να χειρίζεται το HR όταν θα συνταξιοδοτηθείτε;

Νομίζω ότι μετά από σαράντα χρόνια ακόμα και πράγματα όπως οι μετακινήσεις των εργαζομένων δε θα μοιάζουν με αυτό που ξέρουμε. Η διαχείριση ενός διάσπαρτου δικτυωμένου ανθρώπινου δυναμικού θα γίνει η νέα κανονικότητα. Θα θέλουμε οι εργαζόμενοί μας να επιτυγχάνουν το μέγιστο της παραγωγικότητας τους (ακόμα και αν βρίσκονται στην άκρη του κόσμου).

Θα πρέπει να υιοθετήσουμε διαφορετικούς τρόπους σκέψεις. Σε αυτό περιλαμβάνεται το να βλέπουμε το προσωπικό μας ως άτομα. Να κατανοούμε τι θέλει ο καθένας ξεχωριστά.

 

Τι σχεδιάζετε να κάνετε για να αλλάξετε το HR προς το καλύτερο;

Θέλω να αφιερώνω περισσότερο χρόνο στη συνεργασία με την ομάδα marketing , καθώς είναι οι άνθρωποι που γνωρίζουν ακριβώς πώς να στοχεύουν σε μικρές ομάδες καταναλωτών. Όταν μιλάμε για διαδικασίες πρόσληψης (που στοχεύουν σε μικρές ομάδες) μπορούμε να μάθουμε πολλά από αυτούς. Το HR ίσως έχει τον έλεγχο του brandname του εργοδότη, αλλά δεν έχουμε τον προϋπολογισμό για να κάνουμε αυτά που κάνει το marketing.

Θέλω να είμαι αρκετά θαρραλέα ώστε να κάνω λάθη και να αναλάβω κινδύνους. Υπάρχουν βέβαια μερικές περιοχές στις οποίες δε συγχωρείται κανένα λάθος.

Σφάλματα στα θέματα μισθοδοσίας απαγορεύονται απολύτως. Αλλά σε θέματα στρατηγικής θα πρέπει να έχουμε τη γενναιότητα να αμφισβητούμε τον κανόνα. Η σημασία του  HR  θα γίνεται μεγαλύτερη, αλλά θα πρέπει να εξετάσουμε αν οι HR managers θα έχουν το χρόνο στη διάρκεια της μέρας να κάνουν όλα αυτά τα πράγματα.
